The Colombian Red Cross is advancing in the process of formulating the Strategic Plan 2026\u20132030, with the holding of the second Territorial Strategic Construction Day in the city of Medell\u00edn, which is taking place from October 22 to 24. <\/p>\n\n
The meeting, led by Dr. Judith Carvajal de \u00c1lvarez, National President, and Dr. Francisco Moreno Carrillo, National Executive Director, brings together representatives from the Antioquia, Cauca, Choc\u00f3, Nari\u00f1o, Norte de Santander and Santander branches, including Presidents, Executive Directors, technical teams and Volunteers. <\/p>\n\n
Dr. Sof\u00eda Botero, President of the Antioquia Section of the Red Cross, welcomed everyone to the event as the host section and highlighted the importance of this type of prospective planning for institutional strengthening and the collective construction of the future of our National Society. <\/p>\n\n
Dr. Judith Carvajal de \u00c1lvarez highlighted that this process \u201creflects the commitment to jointly build the roadmap that will guide the Colombian Red Cross towards 2030, listening to the voices and realities of the territories.\u201d <\/p>\n\n
For his part, Dr. Francisco Moreno Carrillo emphasized that \u201cthis new planning cycle marks a transformative stage, integrating prospective planning, strengthening our governance, sustainability and humanitarian innovation.\u201d <\/p>\n\n
Throughout the day, spaces for dialogue and collaborative work will be developed on humanitarian macro-trends, risks and opportunities, with the purpose of building in a participatory manner the major institutional commitments and the shared vision for 2030. <\/p>\n\n
The Medell\u00edn Territorial Meeting is the second in a series of meetings that will take place in different regions of the country, reaffirming the commitment of the Colombian Red Cross to participatory, anticipatory planning focused on people and territories. <\/p>\n\n
